OUTLINE
Compact Time contains a short history of life on Earth. It’s a decidedly unconventional book that takes a fresh look at how old the Earth’s rocks and fossils are. It takes the reader on a scientific journey discovering that Earth is comparatively young. It draws on the radiocarbon dating method. Surprisingly, radiocarbon is plentiful in specimens from throughout the geologic column, including in fossil dinosaur bones supposedly 65 million years old! The soft tissues discovered in dinosaur fossils and throughout the geologic column support compact time.
